A PTMT Programme will be organized at SGTB Khalsa College, Sri Anandpur Sahib, Punjab during  December 23, 2019 to January 3, 2020.

Participants will be provided with local hospitality and study materials. Limited accommodation for selected outstation participants will also be provided.

Outstation participants will be provided Government bus fare/ second class train sleeper fare whichever is the least on production of original tickets.

Academic programme

The programme will concentrate on Real Analysis. The topic of real analysis is the first course a student of mathematics encounters which requires imagination and subtle reasoning. It has a strong geometric flavour which needs to be transmitted to the students in a rigourous and clear manner. The objective of the programme is to train the teachers to teach real analysis in an enjoyable and meaningful way.

 Eligibility

Any mathematics teacher, teaching in UG / PG departments. Preference will be given to young teachers. Total number of participants is restricted to 30.
