Mathematics Training and Talent Search Programme

An Initiation into Mathematics (InitMath) Programme will be organized at V.O. Chidambaram College, Tamil Nadu during July 22 – 27, 2024.

Academic programme

There will be courses in Foundations, Linear Algebra and Real Analysis. The courses will be taught by highly experienced faculty in MTTS teaching methodology.

Eligibility

Undergraduate students with mathematics as one of their subjects are eligible for this camp if they are in the fourth or fifth
semester in June 2024. Students from the Tamil Nadu and neighboring states will be given preference.

Application Procedure

Selection

•  The selection will be on merit, based on consistent and good academic records and recommendation by a mathematics teacher.

• The list of selected candidates will also be posted on this webpage. Only selected candidates will be informed of their selection.

• All the participants will be provided with local hospitality and study material. Accommodation will be provided for the outstation participants.

• Outstation participants will also be provided with Government bus fare/Sleeper class train fare which ever is the least on production of original tickets.

• While the students report at the programme venue, they should bring a bonafide certificate from their institute and undertaking form signed by the student and parent in the format available at the page http://mtts.org.in/downloads

Registration Fee

There is no registration fee for the programme.
