A PTMT Programme will be organized at Mepco Schlenk Engineering College, Sivakasi during 20.04.2020 to 25.04.2020.
Participants will be provided with local hospitality. Limited accommodation for selected outstation participants is available in the college Hostels.
Outstation participants will be provided Government bus fare/3 Tier AC /Sleeper class train sleeper return fare whichever is the least on production of original tickets.

Eligibility
Full time Teachers in Mathematics working in Government/aided/ unaided colleges/Engineering colleges/or full time research scholars/post doctoral fellows from the state/nearby states.
Preference will be given to young teachers.

About the Institute
Mepco Schlenk Engineering College, Sivakasi is an ISO 9001:2015 certified, NAAC accredited with 3.14 on a four point scale at “A” grade and an Autonomous Institution affiliated to Anna University, Chennai. The college was established in the year 1984 by Mepco Schlenk Charities founded by The Metal Powder Company Ltd., Tirumangalam, Madurai. The College got 88th position in NIRF- 2019 released by MHRD, New Delhi and 29th Rank among National Level Engineering Colleges including IITs, NITs, by Outlook Survey, June 2018. The Department of Mathematics has striven to set high standards in teaching, right from the beginning by well-qualified faculty of fourteen members with nine Ph.D.’s and five members pursuing Ph.D. The department is currently having DST – SERB, NBHM funded projects. The department conducted many FDPs, STTPs, Workshops and Conferences.
How to reach the venue
The nearest railway station is Virudhunagar (VPT). Virudhunagar bus stand is around one km from the railway station. A rented auto rickshaw will charge approximately Rs.40 for this 1km trip. From Virudhungar bus stand, you may take any bus that goes to Sivakasi and get down at MEPCO college bus stop. From MEPCO College bus stop to campus is walk-able distance around 750m (Auto rickshaw available with Rs.30).
