A Mini MTTS Programme will be organized at Indian Institute of Technology Tirupati during May 4 – 9, 2020.
Participants will be provided with local hospitality and study material. Limited accommodation for selected outstation participants is available at IIT Tirupati Campus.
Outstation participants will be provided Government bus fare/Sleeper class train sleeper return fare which ever is the least on production of original tickets.
Academic programme
There will be courses in Foundations, Linear Algebra and Real Analysis.
Eligibility
Second year undergraduate students with Mathematics as one of their main subjects. Exceptionally bright first year students also may apply. Students from the Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Telangana, and Karnataka will be given preference.
Selection
Selection would be based on merit and recommendation from teachers.

About the Institute
IIT Tirupati is a third generation IIT that started functioning from 2015 under the mentorship of IIT Madras. Since 2018, it has started functioning from its 530 acres Permanent Campus located in Merlapaka Village on Yerpedu-Venkatagiri Highway. The first phase of the construction is expected to be complete by 2021. Currently, there are 837 students, 86 faculty members and 63 staff members in the campus. The institute offers admission to B. The Department of Mathematics and Statistics, since the inception of the institute, offers mathematical, statistical and computing courses for all engineering disciplines of IIT Tirupati. The Department currently offers M. Sc (Mathematics and Statistics) and PhD programmes. The Department has 10 faculty members, 10 Master students and 11 research scholars.

Nearest Railway Station: Renigunta Railway Station or Tirupati Railway Station.
Nearest Bus Station: Tirupati Bus Station.
Please take a bus from Railway/Bus Station to Sri Kalahasti route and request the driver to drop at Yerpedu Junction. From Yerpedu Junction, take an auto to reach the permanent campus. Auto charges will be Rs. 150/- (maximum). Frequent buses are available in the route Tirupati-Renigunta-Sri Kalahasti.
Please take a bus from Tirupati Bus stand to Venkatagiri route, then request for IIT Tirupati- Yerpedu bus stop, you will be dropped at most 500 meters near the IIT Tirupati gate.
