A Mini MTTS Programme will be organized at Regional Institute of Education, Ajmer during September 24–29, 2018.
Academic programme
There will be courses in Foundations, Linear Algebra and Real Analysis, Number Theory/Combinatorics. The faculty will be active mathematicians with a commitment to teaching and from various leading institutions. The aim of the instructions is not to give routine lectures but to stimulate the participants to think and discover mathematical results.
Eligibility
Second year undergraduate students with Mathematics as one of their main subjects. Exceptionally bright first year students also may apply.
Application Procedure
- Applications should be prepared online (via the link given below).
- The signed application form and recommendation form signed by a teacher knowing the students should be posted (preferably by speed post) to the local co-ordinator.
- While the students report at the programme venue, they should bring a bonafide certificate from their institute and undertaking form signed by the student and parent in the format available at the page http://mtts.org.in/downloads
- The selection list will be available at this page.
- Candidates selected for the programme WILL BE provided free board and lodging for the duration of the course.
