Aims and Objectives
The Mathematics Training and Talent Search Programme (MTTS) has turned out to be very successful over last two decades and has motivated a large number of students to pursue a carrier in mathematics. We believe that a large number of students would be benefited if we acquaint mathematics teachers with the methodology adopted in MTTS programme. The present programme (PTMT) attempts to familiarize mathematics teachers, teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels with the methods followed in MTTS programme. Faculty well-versed with MTTS programme will share the pedagogy of teaching mathematics with participants.

Experienced MTTS faculty will be the resource persons of the above PTMT camp
Who can apply?
Any mathematics teacher of North-East region, teaching in undergraduate or postgraduate departments. Preference will be given to young teachers
How to apply?
Please visit this link to submit your application online from 1st September 2014 onwards. Please note that you need to also send a signed copy of the printout of the application to the address of the coordinator given below to reach latest by October 15, 2014. On the top of the cover containing the application form, please write APPLICATION TO PTMT 2014, AGARTALAÂ in capital letters.
Selection
Only selected candidates will be informed of their selection by the 2nd week of November, 2014. The list of selected candidates will also be posted on this webpage as well as Tripura university website www.tripurauniv.in. Candidates selected for the programme will be paid AC-3-tier train/bus fare by the shortest route and will be provided free boarding and lodging for the duration of the course. Any other instructions and guidelines for the participants also will be published in this website.
